Hi, does a PSE have the rights to rotate in the APBS machines with regulars bidded to the APBS?

Check with your RI-399 person. There’s a letter from the mid 1980’s giving us the sweeping rights on the SPBS. If I’m not mistaken, it states in it that keyers will key for 30 minutes and sweep for 15. It’s for ergonomic reasons. Also guides us on how many clerks can be on the machine at any given time, because, you know, sweeping is a mail handler task. 🙂 I realize there are other acronyms and slightly different machines, but the one thing I do know is that the machine might have changed but the tasks remain the same. Seems to me that if they have you keying (yes, APBS shouldn’t have keyers, but most do) more than 30 minutes, grieve it as safety issue. You should be able to get some good mileage out of that one way or another.

Where can I FIND THAT LETTER that states the Rotation requirements for SPSS as compared to APBS. Our management is doing pretty much what they want. Also looking for the Seniority requirements for Induction , rotation and covering breaks and lunches. Some of our Senior bid SPSS operators are used for cover for PSEs. Thanks
