USPS says it is looking into the current situation with local management. (3/28/15)

BROOKLYN – Residents in Flatbush claim they have been jumping through hoops to get their mail delivered.

Tenants on Clarendon Avenue say that since February, the post office has not been delivering any of their mail. USPS confirmed in a statement that the mail was not being delivered because of mounds of garbage that obstructed the mailboxes.

Now, even after the garbage has been cleared away, tenants say they still have to physically go to the post office 15 minutes away to pick up mail that has been sitting there for weeks. Some say they are still missing important items such as passports, and they’ve had enough.
