NLRB Gives Labor a Major Win in Subcontractor Case
This NLRB ruling could have major implications for the U.S. Postal Service, which likes to outsource bargaining-unit work. The so-called “independent” contractors it hires are not. This could boost union organizing efforts among subcontractors. One place I’d like to see organized by the APWU is the USPS Shared Services Center.
